Off the Clock

I am asked frequently if we make a "man's soap." We have those that we call the "manly man," soaps, but from my experience if a man smells good, women will like the scent. If men smell bad, they won't. Why would I make a scent that smells bad? I do not make seasonal soaps, because they don't hold their scent from one year to another. I love making soaps that are practical, beautiful, and always suitable, whether it is our unscented soaps to our most intricate moldeds, I want your money to be used for your benefit year 'round. I have occasionally given in to requests, such as with our Onyx soap, which is a facial soap, or with our Off the Clock, which is meant to be a worker's soap, with pumice, comfrey, activated charcoal, and appreciated by the user's skin. I made such a soap yesterday, and it will be available at the end of April. If you want to reserve a bar, let me know, and I will put some aside for you. If I get enough requests, I'll make another batch. Marketers say that site visitors want to see "the process," of making. It's kind of hard to take photos when working with a dangerous chemical, like lye. But, here is a picture of the "Off the Clock," just after it was poured into our log mold. This will be cut into 24 bars, and after it ages for four weeks, it'll be around. Thanks for visiting.
